Arkansas County Jail Roster Online

The jail roster on the sheriff's site shows who is in custody right now. You can search by last name or browse the full list. Each entry has a photo, booking date, list of charges, and bond set by the court. The sheriff updates the feed after each booking and each release.

For released inmates data, the roster also flags people held within the last 48 hours. Names may drop off the list quickly after bond is posted or after a transfer. If you want alerts on a specific person, sign up for VINELink. VINE sends notices when an inmate's custody status changes.

  • Full name or last name of the person you are looking for
  • Date of birth if you know it
  • Rough booking date to narrow the search

Note: If the name is not on the roster, the person may have been moved to state prison or to a federal facility, so check ADC and VINELink next.

Criminal Background Checks in Arkansas County

Two state systems cover Arkansas County residents. The ARCH system under Ark. Code Ann. § 12-12-1501 et seq. is a paid online search. Each search costs $24.00 and no consent from the subject is needed. The Arkansas State Police CBC system is a consent based check. It runs $22.00 per name and drops to $11.00 for volunteers. See the ASP background check FAQ for what the check shows and what it does not.

The state check lists Arkansas felony and misdemeanor convictions, plus any pending felony arrests from the last five years. It also shows sex offender status. It does not show dismissed cases, not guilty verdicts, or out-of-state records. Mailed in paper requests go to the Arkansas State Police Identification Bureau with a $25 fee via form ASP-122.

Released Inmates Data in the DeWitt and Stuttgart Area

Arkansas County covers DeWitt, Stuttgart, Gillett, Almyra, Humphrey, and St. Charles. All police arrests in the county run through the DeWitt jail. That makes the county roster the one place to check for most city level questions. If a Stuttgart arrest does not show on the roster, the person may have bonded out before the public feed refreshed.

The Stuttgart Police Department and DeWitt Police Department keep their own arrest and incident logs. For city-level FOIA work, contact those agencies. For inmate release data, use the sheriff's roster and ADC.
